Create a profile and start socializing
Making connections is easier when you have like-minded people in front of you. Or a good dish. Or a great drink. Or all of that, all together, like at SpeakEat events.
REGISTER
Download the app and enter your main personal information along with country of origin and languages spoken - with corresponding knowledge. You can also enter your interests and a brief description-they will help you finding people similar to you.
CREATE AN EVENT.
Choose the type of event you want to hold-lunch, appetizer, dinner, drinks-date, time, venue, and table size, and then indicate who it is open to: attendants' age, gender, language, and interests. A reservation will be created and, once it is accepted by the restaurant, the event will be open! All you will have to do is to approve the members and start socializing with the internal chat
FIND AN EVENT
Search for events that are of interest for you near you or in another city, sign up, and start chatting with participants. Is the event you wanted to attend sold out? Get on the waiting list and cross your fingers! ps. Don't forget to leave your review at the end of the event.

After downloading the app and creating a profile, you can explore the events available in your area. You can sign up for events that interest you or create your own event by inviting other SpeakEat users.
With SpeakEat you meet new people safely within public venues. Each user has a verified profile with clear personal information and feedback left by other users and, the event organizer, can refuse registration of users with negative feedback. It is crucial to us that SpeakEat remains a safe place: that’s why you can always contact us to report unsafe behaviours.
All profiles that reflect the age, gender, and language criteria you have chosen for your event can register for your event. As event organizer, you will need to approve each registration and you can reject it if you notice negative feedback about the registered user.
If you can no longer attend an event that you have signed up for, we ask that you cancel your participation as soon as possible via the app to allow other users to sign up and not leave an empty seat at the table.
Yes, after attending an event, you can leave a review and rate the experience. Your reviews will help other users in choosing future events and improving the overall experience on SpeakEat.
Yes, you can indicate the genre to which the event is dedicated at the time of creation.
